Diversity & Inclusion
The USTA
is the national governing body for tennis, and therefore is committed to identifying and tearing down barriers so that tennis truly reflects all of America. To that end, diversity is a strategic priority for USTA New England and one of our core values.
Our responsibility as part of the National Governing Body for the sport obligates us to identify and lead in removing barriers to allow us to be inclusive so that tennis reflects all of America.

Grants
The lack of financial resources has been identified as a major barrier for young, minority players who aspire for excellence in competitive tennis, as well as for local program organizers delivering tennis programs to diverse audiences. The purpose of the grants is to provide funding to these organizations and individuals.
To that end, approximately one half of our grants were allocated to help promote and develop diverse tennis participation throughout
New England
last year.
