NORWALK, Conn. – The QuickStart Tennis Revolution has taken the Norwalk area by storm, as players, parents and coaches are seeing positive results.
Intensity Club in Norwalk held a U8 and U10 QuickStart tournament in January and we will be hosting one in March.

"The level of tennis was high and the excitement level was just as high," said Mike Slattery, the club’s Director of Progressive Tennis. "I have run a lot of special events in my 20 years of coaching tennis and this was one of the coolest events I have ever held.
Slattery involved some of his older players in the tournament. They served as line judges and were impressed with the skills of the young QuickStart users.
"One parent said to me, ‘Well you don't have to sell me on these balls. I can see how they have helped all these kids from the beginning of the year,’" Slattery said. "As a coach, I love how these little team events expose kids to a low level of competition, while they are having fun they are really developing a great foundation for future development."
