Former Juniors Win College Titles

Some of the most successful New England Junior players of the last few years, are still dominating - this time on the college tennis stage.

Carolyn McVeigh (New Canaan, Conn.) helped the Stanford University women's team win the NCAA Division 1 National Championship.

The Middlebury College men's team won the Division 3 National Championship.

Troy Pandolfi (Danbury, Conn.) helped the Western Connecticut State men's team to a historic season ; while Lauren Post (Danbury, Conn.) was part of a memorable season for the Colonials' women's team.

Meghan McCooey (Cumberland, RI), a Tufts University senior captain, reached a semifinal in the NCAA Division 3 doubles tournament.
