The USTA Tennis On Campus New England Championship was held on Saturday, October 20th and Sunday, October 21th at Harvard University's Beren Tennis Center.

Sixteen teams attended, including Boston College, Brown University, Clark University, College of the Holy Cross, Dartmouth College, Harvard University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Northeastern University, Tufts University, University of Connecticut, University of Maine, University of Massachusetts Amherst, University of New Hampshire, University of Vermont, Worcester Polytechnic Institute, and Yale University. Over 150 students participated in the annual tournament.
Teams competed in pool play on Saturday and were then divided into a gold and silver bracket based on pool play results. Tennis On Campus uses the World Team Tennis format, therefore the winner of a team match is determined by total games won in the five individual matches. In the gold bracket final for the championship, Boston College defeated Harvard University 29-11. In a very close match for third place, Tufts University defeated Dartmouth College 24-23. Yale, University of Connecticut, Northeastern, and Brown finished in 5th-8th place respectively to round out the gold bracket.
Boston College, Harvard, Tufts and Dartmouth will now go on to represent New England at the USTA Tennis on Campus National Championships held on April 11-13, 2013 in Surprise, Arizona.
In the silver bracket, the University of Massachusetts defeated the University of New Hampshire in the final by a score of 25-22. The University of Vermont narrowly defeated the University of Maine 21-20 to take third place in the silver bracket.
